Personalized Service
We don’t practice a one-size-fits-all approach. With our comprehensive family/guardian intake process and matching of consumers with the most suitable caregiver based on their needs, we tailor our services to match each client’s unique requirements.
Continuity of Care
Your loved one can rely on a constant level of care from beginning to end with All About Seniors. We strive to develop genuine connections with our customers and help them live better lives by recognizing and respecting their individuality.
Registered Nurse 24/7
We take great pride in the fact that we make certain that all of our Calgary Home Care customers are fully cared for at all times. A Registered Nurse is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist with any questions or concerns they may have.
Home Care Langdon
All About Seniors is a long-standing, family-owned senior care provider, servicing locations around Alberta, including Langdon.
We are a private agency, providing senior care and companionship services for seniors in their place of residence since 1997.
If you’re looking for the most established senior care agency in the area, it’s our mission to provide thoughtful and compassionate care for your elderly loved one.
What Services Do We Provide?
At All About Seniors, we don’t believe in just paying “lip service” to the idea of care.
True care for seniors starts with heartfelt compassion. Elderly people need to feel relevant, heard, honoured, and connected with those around them.
That’s why each carer we connect with our customers is hand-picked and able to provide meaningful companionship. It’s a relationship, not a shift.
Of course, in addition to being the right personality for your loved one, caregivers are also highly trained, professional, and qualified to deliver the level of care you expect.
We provide the following:
Senior Home Care Services: Our professional carers come to you
These services are for those living in a private residence, retirement residence or other setting and in need of companionship, assistance or full nursing care. Our caregivers are supported 24/7 by a Registered Nurse who is on call to deal with medical requirements.
In-Home Services: Helping seniors remain independent
We offer general assistance to ensure your loved one remains safe and well while retaining independence at home for as long as possible. We can also schedule regular outings and provide regular status updates back to relatives.
Companionship for Seniors Living in a Facility: Building meaningful relationships
As well as providing general assistance, facility status updates, and outings, we aim to provide a level of care that goes beyond companionship. We take the time to build meaningful relationships that can substantially improve the social lives of seniors living in a facility.
Foot Care for Seniors: Helping with your mobility
As we age, our feet need special treatment. Tasks such as examining your feet closely, trimming your nails properly, and washing and drying your feet well become difficult when mobility, eyesight, blood pressure, diabetes, nerve damage, and arthritis are affecting your daily life. Our certified foot-care specialists provide foot care and treatment to help aid mobility for you or your loved one.
Self-Managed Care Service: Available through Alberta Health Services (AHS)
Self-managed care is a great way to be in control of the care of yourself or a loved one but the behind the scenes management of an employee or employees can be stressful and difficult to deal with.
Ultimately, it is the quality of life, comfort and happiness of your loved one that is at the heart of all the services we provide. If self-managed care becomes a difficult task than you anticipated, we are here to help!

Our Client Care Process
Client Intake Process
We meet with each client and their family to understand the senior’s personality and ongoing needs so that we may make a meaningful match with one of our caregivers.
This process includes fully understanding their medical background, family history and dynamics, likes/dislikes, as well as subjects and activities geared towards each client.
Assigning The Caregiver
Our second step is to assign a caregiver and meet with your loved one to ensure compatibility.
When the match works, it sticks and both our client and staff member benefit from a mutually enriching relationship.
Our intention is to always provide continuity of care and nurture of one-on-one experience.
Provision of Service
As our client’s needs change, we will be able to accommodate any necessary adjustments to ensure the client remains in their home environment with individuals that know them.
We have various levels of care and services that can meet almost any health care need.
We are also able to connect with other resources to ensure our clients continue to receive outstanding care in their home environment.
Follow Up
After each visit, a report is provided to families, giving an accurate depiction of our time with their loved one.
The report can include activities engaged in, the demeanour of client, food/fluid intake, behavioural changes, memorable moments, health and safety concerns noted, and any other pertinent information.
Why Choose All About Seniors?
Your loved one is matched with the ideal caregiver
One size doesn’t fit all. From our in-depth family/guardian intake process, we are able to match your loved one with the appropriate caregiver who shares similar interests, truly personalizing services to meet the relational and care needs of seniors.
We build caring relationships
Our caregivers genuinely care about people. They pay attention to your loved one’s background, family situation, interests, and cultural upbringing so that they find common interests and build a genuine rapport.
More than care… it’s companionship
We develop a personalized senior care plan designed to provide not only quality care but the companionship that is so important for your loved one when you’re not there. You can free up some of your time without worrying about your loved one feeling lonely.
One carer for continuity
We believe in the value of continuity of care. That is how trust and rapport are built. It is important that your loved one sees the same face and feels comfortable in their presence, so we do everything to retain the same caregiver for the long term.
You receive daily reports
Reports are prepared after each visit and the family receives these within 24-48 hours. They summarize all activities and interactions with your loved one, detailing their general wellbeing and what they ate, bringing peace of mind and reassurance to family members.
Qualified medical assistance if necessary
If your loved one is at home and in need of medical assistance, our caregivers are supported by a Registered Nurse who is on call 24/7 to deal with anything required. They can be called to a residence in an emergency or for routine medical assistance.
All caregivers are trained and fully insured
In caregiving environments, you need to be sure that if an accident happens, you’re covered. All of our caregivers are well-qualified to provide care and fully insured.
We’re affordable
Starting at $30 per hour + GST for companion services, we keep our costs affordable for ordinary families in Alberta. Please note that there are two-hour minimums for all services except footcare (one hour).
Glowing Client Reviews
“Several years ago I spoke with Lynn because I needed someone to help my Mom with grocery shopping and other errands while I was travelling.
Things worked out so well and mom enjoyed her visits so much that we changed to weekly service year round. We both appreciate the professionalism and kindness that Lynn and her staff display.
Mom’s visits with Joanne are a highlight of her day. All About Seniors has been extremely flexible with us as mom ages and her needs have increased.
It is wonderful to have a weekly update when I cannot be there to keep an eye on her myself. I would not hesitate to recommend this outstanding group of people to anyone.”
“Finding All About Seniors has been absolutely life-changing for my Grandmother and myself.
Having lost my mom to cancer I found it really overwhelming to make sure my 96-year-old grandma was getting enough companionship and her care was not falling through the cracks.
We hired All About Seniors for 2 visits a week and the difference it has made in my grandma’s happiness is incredible, we love it so much we have gone up to 5 visits a week! She looks forward to the visits so much and they bring so much light into her days!!
It helps me sleep better at night knowing she has someone checking in on her and the daily update emails have been so helpful for me to keep a pulse on what is going on when I am unable to visit for extended periods.”
